POLICE STATION, KETTERING
A fantastic opportunity to create town centre living surrounded by mews developments, adjacent to the lovely St. Peter & St. Paul Church but still with parking and great transport links. The train station is only an 8 minute walk which then allows travel into London within 55 minutes.
The development will create high quality living for young and old alike with the benefit of high street lifestyle amenities.
The development will consist of 2 phases. Phase 1 will create circa 28 flats of differing sizes, plus 4 town houses. Phase 2 will see the demolition of the magistrates court, making way for 12 town houses. Phase 2 will form a separate purchase later in Q2 2021.
Planning permission designs have been completed for both phases and submitted for comment via a pre-app. Feedback from the pre-app has been gained and a positive ‘yes’ to the development has been confirmed in writing along with some conditions to satisfy; to maintain local heritage, amenities and highways with some other minor additions. The LA has confirmed it forms part of their local plan for regeneration and has LA support and government backing.
SITE IN PROGRESS
We have secured this location and currently looking for investment. We have our initial drawings and are looking forward to start construction.
CHECK OUT OUR POLICE UPDATES
Conceptual designs are underway at present for phase 1 and 2 - the site encompasses the local magistrates court which will form a separate sale later this year and discussions are already commenced to acquire this also as a phase two and overall development of this site with the LA, but our initial acquisition is due for completion mid-August.
Our phase 1 position and figures below show the development of the police station and social club with community asset as part of the development, plus three mews houses. Phase 2 planning is also being submitted in line with Kettering housing needs.
